Short Answer
Is Shilajit Halal, and what is in it?
Our Golden Shilajit resin and liquid drops are Halal-certified. Our resin contains purified Shilajit without added fillers. Our drops contain only purified Shilajit and water.
Shilajit is a naturally occurring material containing humic substances, including fulvic acid, mineral constituents and other naturally occurring compounds. These are different from ingredients added to a finished supplement.
When comparing products, check the exact ingredients and relevant Halal information.
What Is Shilajit Made From?
Scientific literature describes Shilajit as a complex material associated with mountain rock formations. Its formation is linked to the gradual breakdown and transformation of organic material, including plant matter.
Its naturally occurring constituents include humic substances such as fulvic acid, alongside mineral constituents and other compounds. Composition varies with source and preparation.
Natural composition describes the substances occurring within Shilajit. A finished-product ingredient list tells you what the manufacturer puts into the jar, bottle, capsule or gummy. These are not the same thing.
What Is in Golden Shilajit Resin?
Our resin contains purified Himalayan Shilajit without added fillers.
Our raw material comes from Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, and undergoes traditional, multi-stage water-based purification. The resin is measured before use and dissolved in a warm drink according to the product directions.
If you prefer the traditional resin format, Golden Shilajit Resin 50g is our smaller resin option.
What Is in Golden Shilajit Drops?
Our drops contain only:
- Purified Shilajit.
- Water.
No alcohol, glycerin, flavourings, sweeteners or preservatives are added.
The drops offer a liquid, dropper-based routine without the need to measure and dissolve resin. Follow the drops product’s directions for use.

Does Liquid Shilajit Automatically Contain Alcohol?
No. A liquid format does not tell you which ingredients a product contains. Our Golden Drops contain purified Shilajit and water only, with no added alcohol. For another brand, check its full ingredient list.
What About Fulvic Acid?
Fulvic acid occurs naturally within Shilajit. It is not separately added to our resin or drops.
Resin or Drops: Which Should You Choose?
| Your preference | Golden option |
|---|---|
| Purified resin without added fillers | Resin |
| Measuring and dissolving resin in a drink | Resin |
| A formulation of purified Shilajit and water | Drops |
| A dropper-based liquid routine | Drops |
Choose the format that fits your routine, check the labelled expiry and compare current product prices. Our resin vs drops guide explains the practical differences.

What Should You Check When Buying Other Shilajit Products?
Check the finished formulation rather than relying on a “natural” badge.
For resin, check whether other ingredients are added. For drops, inspect the liquid formulation. For capsules, check both the contents and the shell. For gummies, review the additional ingredients and relevant Halal certification information.
If an ingredient or certification detail is unclear, obtain clarification before buying.
Golden’s Halal Certification
Our resin and drops are Halal-certified and manufactured by Himalayan Innate Pvt Ltd. Visit our Accreditations & Quality Credentials page for supporting information.
For a specific religious question about a product or ingredient, seek guidance from a trusted religious authority.
Why Check Laboratory Reports Too?
Halal certification and laboratory testing answer different questions. Our laboratory reports provide batch-specific results for tested quality parameters; they do not replace Halal credentials.
We publish separate documentation for both current batches, SLJT01LQ and HI-SHL-0226. Check the batch reference, laboratory, methods and reported results when reviewing a report.
For help interpreting a report, see our Shilajit COA guide.
