How Golden Shilajit Is Purified

Raw Shilajit collected from mountain material is not the finished product. Golden Shilajit uses a controlled, modern version of traditional water-based purification: raw material assessment, water dissolution, multi-stage filtration, controlled concentration, and natural sun drying. Independent laboratory testing is then conducted on the finished batch before release.

Stage 1

Raw Material Assessment

Every batch of raw Shilajit is quarantined on arrival and assessed against our intake benchmarks. Material that does not meet our intake standards is rejected and does not enter production.

Stage 2

Water-Based Dissolution

Accepted raw material is mixed with clean filtered water to dissolve soluble components while leaving insoluble rock debris and physical matter undissolved and separable.

Why Water-Based Purification?

No chemical solvents are used at any stage of our purification process.

Stage 3

Multi-Stage Filtration

The dissolved solution passes through repeated filtration stages, progressively removing suspended and insoluble material.

Physical filtration removes insoluble material. It does not measure or confirm chemical composition — that requires independent laboratory analysis.
Stage 4

Controlled Concentration

Excess water is gradually reduced through controlled evaporation, concentrating the purified material. Our process prioritises consistency over speed.

Stage 5

Natural Sun Drying

The concentrated material is dried under natural sunlight. Variation in texture between batches is normal and does not automatically indicate a quality difference.

Variation in physical consistency between batches is a normal characteristic of naturally dried Shilajit resin.

Independent Verification After Processing

After purification, every batch is quarantined pending independent laboratory testing before release:

Laboratory coverage and analytical scope can differ by batch. The published testing below reflects documented batch-specific laboratory work.

Laboratory Test Scope Batch
Eurofins Scientific Fulvic acid and heavy metals (Lead, Arsenic, Cadmium, Mercury) SLJT01LQ and HI-SHL-0226
Bureau Veritas Microbiological testing SLJT01LQ
Anresco Laboratories Heavy metals HI-SHL-0226
TTI Fulvic acid HI-SHL-0226
Batch-Specific Result — Batch #SLJT01LQ 45.39 g/100g Fulvic Acid Reported by Eurofins Scientific for tested batch #SLJT01LQ. This result applies to this batch only.

Full Certificates of Analysis are published openly on the Lab Reports page. For the complete verification record covering both documented batches, see the Batch Verification & Laboratory Evidence hub.
