About Golden Shilajit
Our work with Shilajit began in 2012 — long before Golden Shilajit became the name customers know today. Over more than a decade, we built direct sourcing relationships in Pakistan, refined a traditional purification process, and established an independent testing standard that continues to guide our quality-control approach.
This is not a recently launched supplement brand. It is the result of years of hands-on experience with one substance, sourced from one region, held to one standard.
The Story Begins in 2012
In 2012, we began working directly with Shilajit sourced from the high-altitude mountains of Pakistan. The work was practical from the start — understanding how raw Shilajit is collected, how it varies between batches and seasons, and what a genuine purification process actually requires.
What we found in the wider market was consistent: most products were untested, adulterated, or made fulvic acid claims that no independent laboratory had ever verified. We decided early that our standard would be different — every batch independently tested, every result published, no exceptions.
Golden Shilajit is the brand that emerged from that work. The name is new relative to 2012. The sourcing relationships, the process knowledge, and the testing discipline are not.
Rooted in Pakistan
Golden Shilajit is sourced exclusively from the Himalayan mountains of Pakistan — specifically the Gilgit-Baltistan region, where the geological conditions that produce authentic Shilajit are among the most concentrated on Earth.
The resin is hand-harvested from rock formations at high altitude. We work directly with local harvesters who have generational knowledge of the land and its seasonal patterns. These are long-term partnerships built on fair terms and a shared interest in sustainable practice — taking only what the land can naturally replenish.
The environment matters to the product. Gilgit-Baltistan is remote, largely free from industrial activity, and at an altitude that keeps the source material away from agricultural contamination. This is not a marketing claim — it is a practical reason why we source from here and not elsewhere.

How the Process Evolved
Raw Shilajit collected from rock formations contains impurities. The purification process is what determines whether the final product is safe, potent, and consistent. Ours is traditional, water-based, and multi-stage — developed and refined over years of direct production experience.

- 04Independent Laboratory TestingDocumented batches undergo independent laboratory testing before release. The laboratory, analytical scope and results are identified in the published batch documentation.

Testing Became Part of the Standard
Independent laboratory testing is not a marketing feature for us — it is the mechanism by which we verify that what we say about the product is true.
Laboratory: Eurofins Scientific — one of the world's largest independent analytical testing organisations.
Frequency: Independent laboratory testing is documented on a batch-specific basis. The laboratory and test scope are identified in the published documentation for each documented batch. Results are published openly on our Lab Reports page.
What is tested: Test scope varies by batch and laboratory. Parameters documented across published testing include fulvic acid and heavy metals, with additional testing recorded where applicable. Each published laboratory report identifies the specific parameters, methods and results for that batch.
Batch #SLJT01LQ result: 45.39% fulvic acid — independently verified by Eurofins Scientific. This result applies to the tested Resin and Liquid Drops from that batch. Individual batch results are published separately.

Golden Shilajit Today
What began in 2012 as direct sourcing and purification work has become a product line held to a testing standard that most supplement brands do not meet. The Resin and Drops sold today are the result of more than a decade of refinement — in sourcing relationships, in process consistency, and in the discipline of publishing every test result regardless of what it shows.
We do not make claims we cannot verify. The fulvic acid percentage we publish is batch-specific. The certifications we hold are current and ongoing. The sourcing region is documented. The laboratory is named.
That is the standard we set in 2012. It has not changed.
